Karratha

Karratha has two separate areas that are open to off road vehicles, including motorcycles, quads and buggies of all engine capacities. You don’t need a road-registered bike, or a drivers’ licence to ride at Karratha, but you must have Off Road Vehicle registration (available from DPI) and you must wear a helmet. Terrain:Hard packed sand – can be waterlogged after rain or high tides

Current status –

  • The Millars Road Area has potential for redevelopment and the Shire of Roebourne is currently planning to upgrade the facilities there.

RTRA supports the Shire of Roebourne in the provision of areas for legal Off-Road use and commends the Shire for its decision to upgrade the Millars Rd area.
