Still Looking Good!

31-Jul-2008

A recent inspection of the area cleaned up last month by RTRA volunteers and DEC staff was encouraging, with little new trash deposited. DEC has now removed the piles of larger rubbish that were consolidated along Centre Way, but some of the smaller items that were in those piles are still on the ground where the piles were.

Despite this, the area looks a hundred times better than it used to! But we do need to keep up the good work. If every rider who visited Gnangara just looked around where they parked and filled a rubbish bag before leaving, we would progressively get the place cleaner and cleaner. It's not a big ask - maybe 5 minutes to fill a bag - and it really would make a big difference. So how about it?
