State Trail Bike Strategy - Time to Pick up the Pens!

25-Oct-2010

Last month we alerted you to the fact that the State Trail Bike Strategy would soon be going to Cabinet for endorsement, and that we would be asking all members to write or email local Members of Parliament and Ministers urging them to support the strategy.

Well that time has now come.

We have been reliably informed that the government will be deciding the fate of the State Trail Bike Strategy very soon, so it is important that the decision-makers hear the voice of trail bike riders.

The RTRA has written to the Premier, all Ministers and relevant local MPs, but the most effective way of getting real attention is if they receive as many letters and emails as possible from individual riders and their families.

To make things easier we have prepared a 'kit' with some sample content and address details.

We strongly encourage all riders who have an interest in a sustainable future for recreational trail bike riding to support this campaign.

Please click the Strategy link now to see how you can help make sure the politicians hear us loud and clear. Please also forward this to all your riding buddies / friends and family and others who have an interest in this issue and want to see a solution.
