Police Action: Targeted Campaign or Individual 'initiative'?

04-Nov-2009

Following the reports of bikes being yellow-stickered for not having road approved tyres, we have been following up with the Police to see if this is a planned campaign, one-off blitz or just an individual initiative by the officers involved.

So far we've been advised that there has been no instruction from Central Traffic, and no instruction from East Metro. We're still trying to make contact with the Mundaring station.

It will greatly help if anyone who has received an ingringement or yellow sticker can provide the name or number of the officer(s) involved. Please file a Ranger Incident Report if you've been pinged.
