For the RTRA to be an effective voice we need as many members as possible. We don't want cost to be a barrier to joining up but we do need to raise funds to help promote and run the association. So we've set an Annual Membership Fee of just $25. The fee applies for individuals or for families, so if you have a partner or kids that ride they can join up as well at no additional cost.

We are also offering commercial opportunities to companies whose livelihood depends on a continuing trail bike industry.

Here's why you should join the RTRA:
  • Without representation, the needs of recreational trail bike riders will continue to be overlooked. The more members RTRA attracts the stronger the case we can make.
  • The rights of responsible riders are being stripped away because of the actions of a reckless minority. It’s time we emphasised the responsible majority who are considerate of the environment and other trails users.
  • Our kids have no legal options but to ride in unmaintained, unsafe areas. They deserve better!
  • We may choose to participate in organised club events and competitions, but we don’t want organised events to be our only option.
  • RTRA already has achieved success in raising the profile of trail bike riding and gaining the ear of government. With your support we can achieve much more.

We already have a solid membership base and we are working hard to deliver value to our members.   The best value we can give you is to keep our riding areas open and improve them, get more areas open and have this activity recognised as legitimate.

Membership Renewals - If you have received a membership renewal notice please use the link in the right hand box to pay your renewal.
