Lancelin Off Road Vehicle Area
RTRA has been working to keep this area open since 2008 when the Shire of Gingin sought to have the area temporarily closed.
Current status -
- the Lancelin and Ledge Point off-road vehicle areas are open but residents are experiencing issues with overly noisy bikes and the area being used late at night.
Future Projects:
RTRA would like to work with the Shire of Gingin to promote active management of the area. If a relationship with the Shire can be established RTRA will be seeking interest from members to form a "Friends of Lancelin ORVA" to assist with volunteer management and maintenance of the area.

RTRA POSITION
As the only dunal / cross country off-road vehicle area in WA and therefore provides a unique experience. We urge the Government to assist the Shire of Gingin to manage the area and provide some facilities.
